The Affiliate Marketing Trap
The purpose of this article is to make you conscious about avoiding mistakes that are assassinating Internet marketers success before it even starts. After reading this, youll be clear on the major challenges existing for someone whos trying to become skilled at how to build a flourishing Internet business in 2009. Hopefully, it will enlighten you and lead you to the path of serious profits. Welcome to the land of Delusion and Confusion? Most new Internet marketers seem to be lost Weighed down... Dont know where to begin or what they ought to be doing from one day to the next. Are you in the same boat; experiencing the same thing? If you are, keep reading for the reason that this report will be your lighthouse in these rough waters of uncertainty and will rescue you from drowning.Sadly, more and more Internet marketers are quitting and even more WILL be quitting in the near future. There are a number of reasons for that and Ill run through them in a minute. Please dont see this as a Doom and Gloom report intended to worry you Just see this as a clarion call thats going to rescue you from failure. My goal is to help you save years of laborious and expensive trial and error or worst having you give up from dissatisfaction.Information OverloadThis is a real predicament. When youre starting, you evidently need to be taught. You need to educate yourself. So, you start learning You buy a few ebooks You start visiting forums and learning. You might even pony up a thousand dollars or more for a serious course. And in the early days, its electrifying. You feel like, Wow, this is cool stuff. But, shortly after, pleasure shifts to dissatisfaction. Thats a normal response when you are snowed under. And heres where it gets truly vicious information starts to say the opposite to information. Each course is promoted as the missing link or the missing piece of the puzzle. Yet the truth is, it just makes you aware that youre missing even more pieces. So your mission for the holy grail continues and you keep getting more courses, which lead to more information to soak up and before you know it you are in the "overload" precinct! Its not unusual for a newbie or intermediate marketer to waste YEARS in the information overload zone. One of the secrets to getting out of the "information overload zone" is to balance the learning with action. At the outset you must use up 50% of your time learning and 50% of your time taking action without delay on the things you just learned. As you develop, your learning time should diminish steadily as you turn out to be more self-assured and take more action. The Inability To Know What WorksThe trouble when youre starting out is knowing whats good. How can you know what works? The answer is: YOU CANT. And there begins the expensive, painful progression of trial and error. Heres how it more often than not goes Let's say you buy 5 courses and 1 is excellent. And you used up $2500. That means, you blew $2000 acquiring crap information.Heres the true price tag You perhaps spent 25 hours on each course to learn the information. That means youve wasted 100 hours of your time. Thats 100 valuable business building hours that are gone forever. The other issue is, you have a lot of useless junk floating around in your brain. Now heres a point Until you get GOOD at what you're doing, it's just darn difficult to tell the difference between what's junk and what's really good stuff. This is a vicious cycle that leads to confusion and frustration? Here's a quick question for you. Will a vehicle's engine start if you take out the spark plug? No. Just picture that... 1 tiny piece can prevent all the hundreds of other parts from doing their job if it's not in position. Thats the same thing with Internet marketing. And theres a reason why no one is giving you all the pieces of the puzzle. The reason is They want to be seen as 1 trick ponies. They learn from other gurus that they should specialize in 1 thing. So, 1 guy/gal is the Adwords boss, the next is the Traffic Dude, the next is The Product Launch Wizard, the next is the SEO Master and so onThe dirty secret the gurus arent telling you is: They are pretty damn good at just about ALL OF IT. But, their belief in specialization prevents them from telling you this. That's bloody evil - especially when they band together in a "circle of friends" and JV each other's products.Go here for the full Internet marketing product review of Six Figure Yearly
